Description:
Outstanding Career Opportunity K-Tron Process Group, which includes Premier Pneumatics Inc., located in Pitman, NJ is a leading global supplier of process automation equipment, vacuum conveying and systems to the Plastics, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food and Cosmetic markets. We are looking for an aggressive individual who has the ability to perform drafting and design of fabrication and machine details and layouts. This position is a rewarding opportunity for a self-starting, hands-on, experienced Mechanical Designer. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of being able to process engineered quotations, orders and product development projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and revise drawings from mark-ups, layouts or verbal instruction, using AutoCAD
- Create layouts from concept to generate detailed drawings
- Solicit quotes for out-sourced equipment; work with vendors
- Assist Systems Engineers with product development
- Ensure mechanical fit of all components in a given assembly
- Develop item masters, bill of material, order item lists and change orders during process of engineered orders, to provide documents for manufacturing and shipping of equipment
