NJIT's mechanical and industrial engineering program not only gives you a solid academic foundation, but offers many wonderful opportunities to expand your knowledge outside of the classroom theory.
We have student organizations such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the Institute of the Industrial Engineering (IIE) that annually participate in design contests. This is about as close as you come to putting what you learn to the test.
